Silk & Amber – Original Framed Floral Painting in Soft Pastel
Silk & Amber is a one-of-a-kind original floral painting, created in archival soft pastel on premium Pastelmat. Rich orange lilies, soft yellow roses and delicate peach blossoms emerge from a flowing teal background, creating a sophisticated balance of warmth, colour and movement.
Rather than simply depicting flowers, the artwork captures the atmosphere and emotion of a floral arrangement. The flowers have a gentle, almost dreamlike quality, while the deeper teal backdrop gives the composition depth and allows the warm amber, orange and peach tones to come forward.
The fine pastel work and subtle transitions between colours reward closer viewing, giving the painting a tactile quality that is difficult to achieve in a reproduction. This is an original artwork, not a print, making it a genuinely individual piece for someone looking to invest in something distinctive for their home.
A statement piece for a considered interior
At approximately 59 × 49 cm including the frame, Silk & Amber has enough presence to become a focal point without overwhelming the room. Its combination of botanical subject matter and contemporary colour makes it particularly well suited to a living room, bedroom, hallway, home office or creative space.
The sophisticated palette works beautifully with neutral interiors, natural materials, warm woods and contemporary furnishings. The teal background can also provide a subtle connection with existing blue or green tones within a room.
Original Irish artwork with lasting appeal
For buyers looking for original art in Ireland, Silk & Amber offers something quite different from mass-produced wall décor. Each original painting is created by hand, with the character, texture and small nuances that make an original artwork unique.
It is an appealing choice for someone who enjoys floral art, botanical artwork, pastel paintings and nature-inspired interiors, but also for anyone simply looking for an original piece that adds colour and personality to a carefully considered home.
Its timeless floral subject gives the painting broad appeal, while the unusual teal, amber and peach palette gives it a distinctly contemporary character. It could become a particularly meaningful addition to a home, or a memorable gift for someone who appreciates original art and beautiful interiors.
